Just about a half-mile from the shopping district, you will find the Stone Lake Area Historical Society Museum complex. The museum is located in the original Stone Lake Soo Line depot building, a refurbished Soo Line red caboose and the original 1926 Stone Lake Town Hall. The complex contains an interesting assortment of antiques and a wonderful pictorial history of the early pioneers. Railroad enthusiasts have been very impressed with the Soo Line history located in the depot and red caboose.
The museum is open from Memorial Day week-end through the first Saturday in October, Friday -Sunday Noon- 4:00. If you would like to visit at another time, please call 715 865-4940. Free admission.
The Stone Lake Community Wetland Park is located directly in the center of the Village of Stone Lake on the west side of Highway 70. This is a wonderful 17 acre park and includes a six acre wetland which serves as the filtering pond for the lake known as Stone Lake. The Village of Stone Lake is situated on and around a hill. The incline leads all runoff directly into this filtering pond in the wetland park.

We host over 30,000 guests on this day of festivities and fun. Our volunteer festival staff will be ready to serve you by taking care of all the details of the event. The cranberry marshes will be ready once again to show off their operations for they have much to boast about. On the first Saturday in October Over 300 vendors, artisans, crafters, food and hospitality areas will be ready to take good care of you.
